Steady Progress
Construction began [Insert here: date that the project started] when the ground was broken to start work on the foundation. It has been a process of steady progress with exacting care taken to match the character feel of the neibourhood and match the neighboring Heritage Restoration project. Below are photos taken through the construction process. We are currently on schedule for a completion date of [Insert here: a rough date of completion, or not if it's too tricky to decide on one].Wednesday, August 15, 2012
Floor Plans
Architect's Drafting

The drawing on the top is Unit 1 in the corner of the building, and the lower drawing shows an example of the other four Units (is this right?).Street View
Artists Renditions
Artists were again consulted to depict the exterior on the street level, to give a feel of the character, how it will fit into the existing neighborhood and some early ideas of landscaping concepts.
Situated on 20th Avenue and Welwyn street, this map places the Cedar Cottage Townhomes in the broader neighborhood.
This aerial view shows the townhomes nesteled in the top left on a quiet alley.
These images shows the color scheme, chosen from [Insert here: name of heritage paint program you used to decide the color of paint, and the grant you were given for it], and what it would be like to stroll under the trees planted in the communal garden space.
This image details the front entranceways of the townhomes with cedar shingle deatails and other features crafted to fit with the heritage goal and existing restoration project next door.

A Sneak Peak Inside and Out
This is the side view from 20th Avenue looking North. Left are the Cedar Cottage Townhomes and on the right are the Bank of Hamilton Heritage appartments, an award winning restoration project and designated Heritage Building.
This is the front view of the Townhomes, from Welwyn street looking east towards Trout Lake Park.

On the left is a cut-away view of the tidy layout of one of the three (?) floors. The right depicts the sunny kitchen area with full windows to take advantage of natural sunlight and pot-lighting for night-time.
